This industrial epoxy floor with logo was completed in a single weekend, but it sure wasn’t as easy as it looks. The industrial floor in this building had at least 3 layers of existing epoxy that needed to be removed before we could install our own special blend of epoxy.
To make matters worse, the industrial epoxy floor with logo had to be installed in a single weekend. We had 48 hours to install an industrial epoxy floor with logo and allow extreme foot traffic, all by Monday morning.
Challenge accepted and completed!
You can see from the pictures below that all turned out beautiful. The biggest issue with a project like this is removing the existing flooring material. Making sure everything comes up is a necessity. When applying an industrial epoxy floor with logo, or any other type of concrete overlay, the overlay itself it only going to be as strong as the substrate. In other words, if we put an industrial strength epoxy on top of an older floor covering, our epoxy has to rely on the existing floor covering for strength. Even if we left just a small piece of epoxy on the floor, it could cause the new epoxy to delaminate.
Surface preparation is key when installing an industrial strength epoxy or a residential epoxy floor. Both types of epoxy require a clean substrate in order to gain proper adhesion.
